I lived in the projects years ago, and I seen the same entanglements. Expensive cars...men and women buying drugs on their lunch breaks. People meeting up in our parking lots, and not leaving for 40 to 60 mins. It went down in the projects...lol!
Enjoyed your story and you are so right, you never know who is watching you. I remember a lady approaching me when my girls were little and told me she’s been watching me for a long time and gave me a complement on my girls. I have never seem this lady but she has been watching me and my girls.
This is what I say to people all the time. I have no need for tv, movie. I get enough real time action. I have been entertained in so many ways from other humans and they're behaviour, natures gems and wildlife. I don't need more entertainment they that.

I watched my father cheat on my mother for yrs and yrs and she knew about it and I truly believe that's the reason why I don't want to marry. I was with my children's father almost 20yrs and 17 yrs later we're still best friends talk every day. No marriage for me lol.
