Truth be told it is only by the grace of God that any of us have a home. I enjoy watching your videos because I love seeing God work in the life of others. I pray for you and your daily travels. Thank you for sharing about that young man

Thank you for sharing. It's so unfortunate what is happening with the rent in America. I could not afford to stay in my apartment, any longer. I'm thankful to God, I found a low income Senior Citizen complex. I'm just so thankful.

Amen to that! I grateful that I have a roof over my head and can pay my bills. It’s hard nowadays to make ends meet.

Sadly it’s the same in the UK. Food banks have very long queues and people just can’t afford to live. Sad times… I am glad you are happy and at peace with yourself…. 💕

Yes. I'm in my 50’s and I'm thinking of buying a piece of land and purchasing a manufactured home as preparation for the day I'm unable to afford the rent on my apartment.

You do an amazing job filming an showing me what van life is. I wish I could afford to get a van an live in it, but that's not even close with my income. So watching your videos is like taking me to my dream of van life living. Thank you Sandy from Wisconsin

I'm on the cusp of divorce at the age of thirty nine years old and am making plans on transitioning to van life. In my deep depression somehow I came across your videos and thought that I can do that too! I'm giving myself four years to hopefully sell my house ,save up and just go wherever the wind blows. I've always been a loner and as a veteran I prefer being by myself. Contentment is what I'm searching for and hopefully I find it. Thank you so much for your videos!

Great post, Nomi. I love reading so I’m happy to see you sending out your newsletter. I appreciate you highlighting what’s really going on in this society we live in. It is completely sad and heartbreaking to see so many people struggling in our country. I’m definitely one of them, as a single mom trying to stay afloat. Man, it’s sad to see how high the cost of living is and the low wages being offered across many industries. Things are way different than they used to be. Through it all, I know that God can do ALL things and I am praying that a shift takes place that will go in the favor of those who love Him. I saw in the news a story about a young mother living in her car with her daughter in TX and I just found that to be so sad, imagining how hot and uncomfortable that could be not only for the child, but for the mother too. I’m praying 🙏🏽 Thank you for always highlighting what others go through. I see some people just not care, but you take the time to speak about it!

I agree with Rose. In the UK mortgage rates are shooting up each month and this has a serious knock on effect on landlords who hike rents up. Food is so expensive that its hard to do a weekly shop even for just the basics. Fuel prices are extortionate, electricity gas and petrol.....oh I could just go on and moan for days about how tight things are.

Glad you are doing ok xxxx

Yes. Very true. I do not recognize my country. In the 80 s and 90s I looked forward to my future. Now, I am concerned. I have thought a lot about living a “ van life” but like many I am doing my research and also hoping my grown kids don’t think I’ve gone crazy. Stay blessed , stay safe. 🙏🏻

Hi Dear Heart.

I always enjoy reading your newsletters and seeing your videos. And I admire your tenacity and ability to lift yourself up when you’re feeling a bit down and weary, as I may have noticed in your last couple of videos. Not easy to know what someone is moving through, especially in a brief video.

So, I don’t want to speculate. I imagine, it can be a bit monotonous and tiring at times, trying to keep up and in touch with your community members, which you manage to do regardless. Which many of us are thankful for. When I do see you’ve posted something, my immediate thought is “oh good, she’s okay”. Can’t help but feel a sense of a motherly concern for your well being. You are indeed a delightful presence in this world, whether it shows or not, you are a refreshing, loving spirit in this ever changing world and I appreciate you and for sharing a bit of your life with all of us.

You're right, there are more and more people living in cars, vans, old converted school buses, living the nomadic life. I live in a house with my son and his family, I could never afford to live on my own, not with the high rents and astronomical cost of living here in California. Way way back in day, in my youth, I lived in an apartment in San Francisco, around the corner from Golden Gate Park, a one bedroom, the rent was, $75 a month, can you believe it? I looked it up on Zillow not too long ago and that same apartment rents for over $5,000 a month...🤯 If I were alone, I'd probably be living in my vehicle for sure and not by choice. You're lucky that you had a choice and you're making it work, I love your life, your adventures, the freedom you have, you're a brave soul, braver than me. I do worry about you out there, but I feel you can take care of yourself, you're very cautious and aware, but still, be safe out there and thank you for this...✌🏼💕
